Also by this author: Giving Up the Ghost, This is Forever, The Serendipity of KarmaThis story takes place in the space between the last chapter of the book THIS IS FOREVER and the Epilogue. It is in no way a stand alone, so we urge you to not read this until you have read the other books in the series, or this will not make any sense, and just seem like erotica. It is not.
If you have just stumbled across this story, (possibly because you liked the name of the book or the cover photo) the series, 13 Shades of Red starts with the prequel story You Burn Me, goes to Giving up the Ghost, followed by The Serendipity of Karma, and then This is Forever. It should be read in order.
We hope you enjoy this extra, and that you stick with us for book #3 in the series, Make Damn Sure,
The Bride Wore Latex is the novella that sets us up to attend the wedding of Winter and Natasha/Lola. This is a very short read, but has so much love and emotion packed into its pages. It’s a very sweet story and we are shown just how much Winter and Lola love each other.
We are given more backstory to some of the characters in this series, which I very much appreciate. I am getting to know these people more and more with each book. Each little tidbit of personal info that is shared is just one more reason to love or hate that character. I believe that these little bits make the characters feel more realistic. I can connect with Lola more because I know she has trouble doing girly type things, and so do I. I just never learned.
The girls give Lola a bachelorette party and we learn lots of interesting things about incubi, Nyx’s first time having sex, and the story of how Winter and Lola got together. And as you can tell by the title, we discover something a little more kinky about Lola than we previously knew.
I love this series. Each story just makes me love it more and more.
