In this nineties, neo-noir style, erotically charged thriller, Olivia Leadoux is a gorgeous Hitchcockian blonde being stalked by a deranged madman named 'Stitches.'
Olivia is haunted by visions of the killer’s next target, as he closes in on her and her friends. Can she stop the murderer before he kills again? Horror mystery writer, Steven Stacy and horror author, Kevin J. Kennedy join forces to tell this powerful thriller of deception and lust that will leave you on the edge of your seat until the terrifying finalé.

So Stitches starts off innocent enough. You have a model who is beautiful and stalked by a man by the name ‘stitches’ because of what he does to his victims. Add to that the fact that Olivia has dreams that are prophetic in nature. Now, not everything is as it seems, of course. As the story progresses so does the horror that Olivia is living with. No one is safe from stitches.
I really like this story. It isn’t gory per se, but there are some graphic parts. I also like the twist that they put into it. Honestly, I did not see that coming and have some questions. The questions are because at the end, it leaves the reader hanging on a couple of things. Essentially in my mind it doesn’t end, I mean the story does end, but it doesn’t at the same time.
Overall really good short story about what happens when you become egotistical and think that you are above everyone and everything.
