I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Well, Jessica McClain still can’t catch a break. In Red Blooded Jessica is once again faced with impossible odds and she seriously needs a vacation.
Her brother is trapped in Hell and now Jessica has to go rescue him. While she’s there she meets this chick who has me so conflicted it’s not funny. I just can’t figure out what Lily is all about. There is more to her than we are told.
As usual, Amanda Carlson fills her book with plenty of action and adventure, as well as her signature sense of humor at the perfect moments. Her sense of sarcasm gives her books a little bit of something fun during crappy situations.
Carlson’s world building when she created Hell is creative and new, and I liked how unique it was in comparison to other descriptions.
Red Blooded is a great continuation to the series and a must read if you have been following the Jessica McClain series. She introduces new characters and gives the reader more info about existing characters.
