Belail took another drag from the blood tinted clove cigarette, the puffs of putrid smoke swirling to show the chosen image again. "So, the former High Commander of Second Hell has finally set his heart on Raven White."
Such pity that the dear Detective assigned to enforce supernatural and paranormal cases in Quebec would be chosen by this particular demon.
Bla'Gar is well… different.
Another drag, another puff. Relishing the new image of a chained Raven; withering in pleasure on Bla'Gar's Hellfire bed.
Clearly a scenario that would keep Belail entertained… for now.
One to watch; intriguing to see at what lengths Bla'Gar would go to court the human Detective. And possibly… feasibly claiming the human's soul for Bla'Gar himself?Licking his lips Belail returned to the shadows from once he came. Scoffing his barbarous thoughts to the darkness. Though it would be fair to say that supers and paras aren't the only ones that have teeth, claws and horns
I received this book for free from Author Gifted in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
This book is intended for audiences 18+ and that are okay with explicit Male on Male action. Do not say you were not warned.
So we here at fang will read most anything, especially if a hot author asks us. I mean seriously how can you say no to Wulf. Okay sorry back to what I was saying, so we will read anything, and this ran across our laps, and at first I was like umm… I don’t know, but it was a novella, and I really didn’t have anything pressing that needed to be read so I took a chance.
I am SO glad that I read it, because not only is the sexy times good, but the story is really good, and for like what 22 pages of writing (I read it really fast so it seemed like it was only ten) you get this whole world set up for you that you are want more, and seriously I want more right now.
This world is after Supernatural, Paranormal, and Preternatural beings are known to the world, or four years after the “Revelation” this is important. Oh and if you don’t know how he uses the three terms, he even has a handy dandy glossary at the beginning, I know we all wish every single author was this way. So Detective White, get it Neon White, handles all of those cases that others do not want to deal with, so you guessed it, all the supernatural, paranormal, and preternatural misfits and hooligans are under his watch.
What I really liked about it is how he set up this world without even really meaning to. I mean it is short and there are a good 4 pages of foreplay, but it really sets the stage as to where he is going on go with the series. I like how it is believable, I mean you can actually see yourself standing on the corner watching Detective White sneeze because of a nearby Lycan *he is allergic to dogs*.
What I didn’t like about it, it was too short, I mean Wulf really could have made a full length novel out of this novella. But looking up his other books, he seems to go for short and sweet and therefore I am okay with that. I mean who am I to judge.
