Halloween Spooktacular, Andi’s Birthday, and Welcome Andi GIVEAWAY

It is now the day.

So I, Melanie, AKA Miss Fang, have decided that my good friend Andi, hereby known as my Vampy Tinkerbell can have some control over the page. More importantly she has decided that she wants to help 🙂  I am sure you have all seen reviews from her in the past, and it is just official.  She is also the owner of a very new publishing company, so new in fact that she barely has a website.

Over the last few months she has been vital to the success of this blog and without her, there would have been a lot less going on for you guys to enjoy.

Some of you may have noticed that from around May until recently my presence was much more limited. There’s a pretty good reason for this. I had a baby. He was born Aug 10th and his name is Ronin. He’s 11 weeks old now, so I am finally in a place where I can start posting regularly again. Without Andi’s help, I would have lost my mind months ago. She’s kept me organized, on time for things, and was there for me when I was having one of my “moments”. She is one of the few people I actually can say that I trust and can count on to do what they say they will.

Anywhos please welcome Andi.

Hi all, My name is Andi, and I am excited to blog with Ms. Fang.  I started my blogging with Little Read over at Littlereadridinghood.com and that is where I met the Fang.  You should all check out Little Read’s page, she is awesome sauce and they do really good work over there.   And she is a Ginger, what can I say, I have a thing for Gingers.

Since I am a fan of darker books I was naturally drawn to most of the books that Fang reviewed, started reading her reviews, then moved to helping her behind the scenes and then finally reviewing.

As Fang said I own a publishing company which hasn’t really been outed to the public yet, I am nervous.  I am also a published author of military history, working on a military history book, and working on some fiction and children books.

So I am married, have a spawn, have some pets, and like classic cars… Oh and Reading, I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading, when I am not tending to one of the above mentioned family members.  My birthday is Nov. 6 which is partially why we are doing this whole thing.  What can I say, some people like getting shiny things (me), some like to give shiny things (me), and some just let the day pass (NOT ME)…

<hands the mike back to Fang>

*drum roll*

About Ian David Noakes

Ian David Noakes is a former projectionist who now loves writing stuff: funny stuff like Partners In Crime; Scary stuff like Hourglass Heights. And even serious stuff like Tables Turned.

As Ian had too much time on his hands with only his wife, five children, screenwriting, novel writing and Mocha drinking trips to Starbucks, he decided to train to become a behavorial therapist too.

Ian started writing his debut novel, Hourglass Heights, during the of summer of 2012 after producers were complimenting his ‘dynamic writing style’ year after year, writing that would never be read more than a handful of times in a window-less office.

He completed it a year later, but during the publishing process he completed two novellas (Partners In Crime, Tables Turned), as well as his second novel, The Ancient Lawman.

Hourglass Heights has been nominated for the People’s Book PrizeTM in the U.K., and it is also a contender for the National Book Awards.

Oh, Ian also loved this review: “Noakes knows his way around words and paints a brilliant, dark world where creatures of the night become all too real.”
--MIKE J. HULTQUIST - Author/Screenwriter (Victim, Squeal: Blood Harvest and Arena - starring Samuel L. Jackson and Kellan Lutz)

About Kyoko M.

Kyoko M is an author, a fangirl, and an avid book reader.

Her debut novel, The Black Parade, made it through the first round of Amazon’s 2013 Breakthrough Novel Contest. She participated and completed the 2011 National Novel Writing Month competition. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English Lit degree from the University of Georgia, which gave her every valid excuse to devour book after book with a concentration in Greek mythology and Christian mythology.

When not working feverishly on a manuscript (or two), she can be found buried under her Dashboard on Tumblr, or chatting with fellow nerds on Twitter, or curled up with a good Harry Dresden novel on a warm central Florida night. Like any author, she wants nothing more than to contribute something great to the best profession in the world, no matter how small.

About M. Stratton

About the Author
M. Stratton is an International Amazon bestselling author in the romantic suspense and mystery suspense categories for her debut novel After the Storm. She is a self-proclaimed dork that loves to make people laugh and can trip over nothing. Her inner rock star is always on stage performing to a sold out crowd but is quiet and shy on the outside.

She lives with her husband and son in Arizona, which is a big difference from where she grew up north of Chicago Illinois. As an only child she learned to tell herself stories to make the long winters go by quicker while dreaming of summer vacations. Now as an adult she still makes up stories to pass the time, but now she writes them down to share with other people.

When not writing you can find M. watching football (Go Bears!), NASCAR, or classic movies, watching her husband and father restore classic cars, and seeing who can be sillier, her or her son, and of course reading.

About Margo Bond Collins

Margo Bond Collins is the author of urban fantasy, contemporary romance, and paranormal mysteries. She lives in Texas with her husband, their daughter, and several spoiled pets. Although writing fiction is her first love, she also teaches college-level English courses online. She enjoys reading romance and paranormal fiction of any genre and spends most of her free time daydreaming about heroes, monsters, cowboys, and villains, and the strong women who love them—and sometimes fight them.

About Michael W. Garza

Michael W. Garza often finds himself wondering where his inspiration will come from next and in what form his imagination will bring it to life. The outcomes regularly surprise him and it's always his ambition to amaze those curious enough to follow him and take in those results. He encourages readers to peek at his latest work as well as the material he's published in the past. He sincerely hopes that everyone will find something that astonishes, surprises, or simply scares the heck out of you.

About Tawdra Kandle

Tawdra Kandle has been a writer since pens were invented. Her first published story appeared in Child Life magazine when she was 13 years old. She took a brief hiatus of about thirty years to hone her craft, get married and have four children before publishing the young adult quartet The King Series.
