A Vampire Hunter’s Guide to Getting Through the Holidays

Guide to Getting Through the Holidays

Making a list. Checking it twice.

DON’T drink an entire bottle of champagne on an empty stomach. This only leads to nightmares in which rabid vampires appear in your bedroom to exact revenge on you for killing them. Remember to sip and savor.

Mistletoe or not, DO kiss the boy you’re crushing on. Life’s short and uncertain, take it from me. When the urge hits, pucker up and plant yourself in that boy’s lap with a smooch to his mismatched, oh so alluring, lips!

DON’T trust strangers no matter how friendly they seem. One moment they’re engaging you in a heart-to-heart, the next they’re shoving you inside a car with the help of their henchmen.

DO defend yourself and others. There are bullies and beasts out there who prey on
the innocent. Put your foot down … right on top of theirs. Stomp if you have to. Be bold. Be brave. Be fearless.
