Feature and Follow #4

We are Fang Freakin Tastic Reviews are proud to be a part of Feature and Follow Fridays.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This week’s Question:

Have you ever been inspired by a book character to do something? Who was the character and what was it?

Since most of the books that I read are paranormal, science-fiction, and/or fantasy; I can say that I have not really thought of doing something that they have done.  I mean sure I would like the power to use magic or the power to slow down time but that isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

My other favorite genre are murder mysteries and I can tell you that no book has caused me to want to become a serial killer.  Just not going to happen.  Now I did want to be a forensic Pathologist when I was little and that may have been because I loved Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs.  So I guess during the course of these two paragraphs I have decided that characters have caused me to want to do something.  I was two years away from going to Med School when I decided that it was not the right course and instead switched my majors from Bio/Chem to History/Sociology.

Have any of you decided that after going to school it was not the thing for you?  Or did you just change majors?

To Whet your appetite for next week:

Next week’s question: Have you ever been to BEA? If not, what’s stopping you? If you have, what was your best experience there?

Yes, very glad you weren’t inspired to become a serial killer. I’ve actually never gone to college, but whenever I though about it I always changed my mind on what I wanted to study. Now I’m pretty set on studying business if I’m ever able to go, since I want to own my own book store.

    New follower.

Yup! I did a BA in Cinema, found that life as a freelancer wasn’t really for me and went back to school. Graduate next month!! Can’t wait. New bloglovin follower.

  5. Yeah, with those genres it’s a little difficult to want to become inspired by those characters. LOL!! New follower!

Thanks for being a new follower <3. Yeah I really tried hard to figure out the post because I didn’t want to be like “oh yeah I love me some serial killer books”. The other really hard thing is that I read a lot of history, kind of goes along with my degree, and so I don’t want to be Hitler, even though I read a lot about him.
