This was a great book. I don’t normally get too interested in the “Fairy Tale” themed books, but this one was a pleasant surprise. Each story was well written and interesting and you could tell which story it was supposed to coincide with.
Brynn Myers’s story, Puss in Boots retold was really good. It was thrilling and made you really care about what was going on with the characters. There were obvious emotions that, as a reader, I could relate to. I felt for the characters, I wanted them to accomplish their goals and for there to be a happy ever after for them. I won’t tell you if there was or not, you’ll have to read for yourself to find out!
This was a great collection of stories that runs the gamut of variation. Some of these stories I never would have read on my own, but I’m very happy I did. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different from what they normally read.
