I know you guys are expecting one of my usual longwinded reviews of Claire’s newest book, but there is really only so much I can say about this one without giving away any of the story.
Blood Claim is definitely a different kind of horror from what I’m used to seeing from this author. I loved that there was no romance because, as you know, that is most definitely not my kind of thing. It’s very well written and exciting as we have come to expect from this author, which is one of the reasons I have come to rely on her as an author that doesn’t disappoint, even after she wrote some romances I didn’t read. I’ll admit it took me a minute to get into the story because I’m impatient like that, but once they got moving I couldn’t wait to see how things would turn out with Mike and the guys in Ghana and I am still somewhat creeped out.
I highly recommend Blood Claim to anyone looking for something different from your run of the mill type of horror story.
